I am a credentialed Secondary Level Art and Design educator with over eighteen years experience in teaching and curriculum design. With an emphasis on the creation of educational models that give equal value to the types of inquiry that take place in a lab, studio and workshop setting, I use opportunities in classrooms, informal and after-school settings to experiment with curricula that encourages students to move between divergent and convergent thinking, and to formulate a systems-level understanding of how things work. The focus of my research is quality interdisciplinary collaborations and lesson facilitation through questions.
